60s Telecaster Copy

This guitar I built from parts which I bought from Allparts UK. It was a nice build as I didn’t have to do much apart from put it together. I always wanted to have a Telecaster, as they are nice guitars and I wanted to build one to my liking.

After seeing the Burns Brian May sunburst copies with tortoise shell pickguard, I liked the look of them, so decided to follow a similar route.

I bought a three tone sunburst bound edge Telecaster body, a big fat maple neck, and a tortoise-shell pickguard. For pickups, I used an Allparts Brand RAZOR. I chose hot wound pickups for a slightly brighter sound. I went for a brass three saddle bridge to make it look old, as I dislike the newer bridges.
