Queen + Paul Rodgers

Hyde Park, London - 8th July 2005

Well my first ever gig, and what a first, I went to see Queen + Paul Rodgers in Hyde Park. I think it was the last stop on their European Tour and it was a sell out; 65,000 I think. It was delayed due to the London bombings and was put on a week later than planned.

Was worth the wait we queued for hours to get in, we were in the gold circle, when we got in I must of been only 5 rows from the front. After Razorlight, and Peter Kaye, it was a great show! It was great to seem them all together and they looked to be enjoying themselves it was a great sight. You may never be able to replace Freddie, But hats off to Paul; it's a difficult job, but he does it so well. All the guys played really well and from word of mouth it was the best they had played on their tour!
